Autobiography

Hello there, my name is María Eugenia but everyone calls me Maru, I’m 19 years old and I was born in Querétaro México.

I’ve been living in Querétaro all my life with my parents and my older sister, who is my best friend and partner in everything I do, I could definitely say she is a zany ⁽¹⁾ because she is very funny, and I’m hers.

I don’t consider myself a loner ⁽²⁾ person, I love being around my friends, but I do consider myself as a zestful ⁽³⁾ girl full of energy and when it comes about doing what I really enjoy.

Another thing about me is that I’m a calm person, a little bit clumsy ⁽⁴⁾ and dull ⁽⁵⁾ when it comes to detail stuff, because I’m easily distracted with unimportant things, but I’ve never been troubled ⁽⁶⁾ with my parents or anyone, I like to take things easy so that I can do things good.

Thank God I’ve had a gifted ⁽⁷⁾ life, we are really frank ⁽⁸⁾ with each other and there’s a lot of respect and confidence in my family, so it’s very pleasing ⁽⁹⁾ to go home at the end of the day and know someone is there to listen and support you.

So, as far as I remember I was in New Continent School for like my whole life, except 1 year of kinder garden I think, that I spend at Abaco childcare, but my other 15 years of school were at New Continent School, but I didn’t really like it that much, so I’m amused ⁽¹⁰⁾ about how long I was in that school.

 About me and my hobbies today, I enjoy singing, acting but especially taking photos, I could say photography is my passion, I love taking them and editing them, I could spend the whole day doing that and I wouldn’t even notice time is going by, so taking photos is something that makes me feel happy because I have a jolly ⁽¹¹⁾ doing that.

Another thing I love about taking pictures is that I can express what I’m feeling at that time, so some of my pictures can be very vivacious ⁽¹²⁾and colorful, while others may be drab ⁽¹³⁾ or somber ⁽¹⁴⁾, but the main idea is for me to express myself and make the pictures alluring ⁽¹⁵⁾ to others.

So I’m studying LANCE at EBC university, and I found in there some of the best people I’ve ever met and with whom I’ve made a great friendship, of course it’s easier to make friends with people that are in the same page you are, so it’s nice to be surrounded by guys with my same ideas.

So I’m a bit hesitant ⁽¹⁶⁾  about my future, because I’m not really sure in what area I want to be working at, but I can se myself involved in the media, maybe as a Photographer or as a Producer or Director, but I definitely want to be involved in that media.

I’m fearless ⁽¹⁷⁾ with my decisions and I just do what I love doing.

Something I like about what I’ve done in my life is the fact that I can see back to it not regretting yesterdays, but thanking that decisions I made to be where I’m today.

Thank God my life has been pretty easy and happy, there’s a lot of respect and confidence in my family, so it’s really nice to go home at the end of the day and know someone is there to listen and support you.
